Job Description

Are you ready to jumpstart your civilian career while still serving in the military? Do you want to explore different corporate roles and industries before committing to them? Do you want to receive world-class training, mentorship, and career support from a veteran-owned company that understands your needs?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be interested in our remote DoD SkillBridge internships. These internships are designed to give you real-world job experience, training, and skills development in a corporate environment. You will also enjoy the safety net of full pay and benefits from the military during your internship.

As a SkillBridge intern, you will start with our Community Outreach program, where you will learn how to communicate effectively in the business world, how to influence and sell yourself (and our services), and how to align with our mission and values. After that, you will move into one of the following training paths based on your interests and goals:

  • Sales / Business Development
  • Veteran Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Marketing (content creation, digital marketing)

Each training path will include specialized courses, hands-on projects, and job shadowing opportunities. You will also receive ongoing career support and transition preparation from our online community, including resume feedback, LinkedIn profile training, networking events, informational interviews, and individual mentorship.

Program Location – Remote SkillBridge

Most opportunities are remote/WFH and may also involve on-site work with your employer host in a location aligned with your needs.

Program Duration

3-6 months


Open to all qualified transitioning active-duty U.S. service members, both officer and enlisted, of any rank and branch.

Must have 180 days of active duty service remaining before the date of separation and have obtained approval or be in the approval process from the unit/command.

Note: As published in Department of Defense Instruction 1322.291 and as outlined in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Fact Sheet #712 of January 2018, Servicemembers participating in a SkillBridge program are participating in a capstone training experience at the end of the military career and are NOT eligible for wages or other benefits from industry partners since the program is supported by the Department of Defense which will continue to cover the salaries and benefits of the participating members.
